WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A JOB ANALYSIS AND A JOB DESCRIPTION?
A job analysis is a systematic process to gather information
detailing job duties and responsibilities, physical and mental
demands, environmental factors and personal characteristics required
to perform job functions. This comprehensive report frequently
includes pictures of tasks performed. A job description is a report
of the positions, job duties and physical demands presented in an
easy to understand format. Focus On Intervention's job analyses and
job description reports are proprietary to our company and have been
developed throughout 25 years in business with continued
improvement.
